We're the place you come to build physical endurance, mental clarity, and let out your inner beast.
Bring the kids too.
We like little savages.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission at East Side Studio is to serve the East Side of Hawai’i and provide inclusive access to fitness and wellness through classes, community workshops, and online instruction.
ALAKAI
Leadership is important. Elevating people to roles of leadership in their homes, jobs, and community
KÄ€KOU
We are here to help and kakou both our teachers and students to achieve their health and wellness goals.
LÄ€ HUI
Our community always comes first. Addressing the needs of the community is our priority.
ʻIMI LOA
We seek the best versions of ourselves so we can live a full and abundant life.
ʻIKE LOA
We believe in the constant learning process and as a studio, will encourage all teachers and students to learn new fitness and health techniques.
LÅŒKAHI
The success of the studio will rely on teamwork. We want both the teachers and the students to work together to build a healthy Hilo and Puna district.
KAPU ALOHA
Self-preservation and the understanding that we may not always agree, but we have one task at hand in common; becoming the healthiest versions of ourselves.
PONO
To be a wellness advocate, we believe we must act and behave at our highest self. Being pono with ourselves first in order to have an impact on our hui.
HOʻO MAU
To persist and be resilient within our health journey is vital. There will be times when we fail to meet our expectations, but we are here as a community to encourage each other to rise again.
MÄ€LAMA
The idea of stewardship of our bodies and minds will have an impact on how we take care of ourselves, our ohana and our hui. Taking care of our health takes dedication and discipline.
ʻOHANA
We believe that a strong mother will hold up an entire community, as well as her own home. Having ohana as a core value stems from the way we see each other, and how we bring it home to our families.
CORE VALUES
We believe in Native Hawaiian values, and run our business accordingly. Ohana first so that we can take care of others. We have a lot of pride in our home here on the island of Hawaii.
