    Class Descriptions

    ESS BARRE 1 & 2

    Barre Above incorporates Ballet, Yoga, Pilates, and resistance training, all in one seamless and fun format!  We start off on the floor for warm-up then move to the barre for muscle strengthening through a large range of movement motions, pulses, and static holds, as well as short cardio bursts. We then finish off back on the floor for core, core, and more core!  This Barre Above method promises a sweaty mix of breath engagement, strengthening and lengthening, balance and mobility, and enhanced mind-body connection. Although Barre 2 increases in intensity, we encourage all levels to attend as modifications are offered.

    ESS FIT 1 & 2

    Incorporating exercise into your daily routine boosts your immune system and endurance. Learn how to show up for yourself and get into a healthy mindset. This 45-minute workout is open to all levels. Integrating Modern movement and traditional mat work will get your blood flowing and your brain energized. Mat and water bottle required. Shoes are optional.

    ESS POWER 1  & 2

    Power classes offer a wide range of exercises developed to build a variety of skills with a focus on mind, mobility, stability, strength, endurance, power, speed, agility and performance. Although the class is structured for High Intensity Interval Training  (HIIT) modifications are offered to suit you! Be ready for a hyped up workout & have tons of fun while getting your sweat on!

    All levels. Mat required.

    ESS PILATES 1 & 2

    Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength, and muscle balance. Pilates will often utilize blocks and a small exercise ball. Great for toning, beginning your fitness journey or recovering. 

     

    All levels. Mat required. 

    ESS TWERK WITH A.BUN.DANCE

    Twerk is a high energy fitness class where e lift your confidence while dropping it low! Learn isolations, body rolling and to booty shake with a bunch of baddies that to have a good time while breaking a sweat! 

    Knee pads highly suggested. All levels. 

    ESS FLOORPLAY

    Buti classes utilize spiral structure techniques to facilitate the release and toning of the body - physical, emotional, and energetic. Through primal movement, dynamic asana, and cardio sprints, students break down the emotional barriers that hold them back from achieving self-love and true human connection. Music guides your classes like an internal GPS - no more 8 counts or reps. The beat blended movement forces you out of your head and into your body. It is in THIS magical place that you integrate your human experience instead of escape it. All formats incorporate elements of shaking & vibration to help release stored trauma and stimulate cellular reorganization.

    ESS BUTI 1 & 2

    All elements of Buti Yoga apply, replace the cardio sprints with lower impact moves. Don't be fooled, you will still leave this class feeling invigorated and sweaty!

    ESS ART & MOVEMENT

    Utilizing breath work, movement, and a yoga foundation our Keiki art & movement camps are the perfect thing for children to tap into their creative energy. 

    ESS KEIKI

    This class is an opportunity for children to go on an adventure while practicing self-healing, flexibility, strengthening, increasing self-esteem, enhancing concentration, practicing awareness, helping stress management, and promoting social interactions. Keiki gets to explore and experience these incredible benefits through the use of games, storytelling, and creativity.

    Keiki 12 and under. Mat or towel required.

    ESS POP PILATES

    Taking Pilates outside of it's traditional box and adding in some modern fusion! Taking all the amazing fundamentals of Pilates that help lengthen & strengthen the body and sprinkling it with expressive dance moves. Get ready for both old school & today's hits in this class.

    All levels. Mat required. 

    ESS BALLETONE

    Fusion-style workout for the "non-dancer," combining techniques drawn from ballet dance, pilates & fitness. Essentially a Barre workout done center floor with no props or equipment. This fun & invigorating workout helps develop core strength, muscular endurance, balance & flexibility. Balletone will keep you moving physically & mentally focused, no muscle will be left untouched. Requiring absolutely no dance background, Balletone is truly the "non-dancers" dance workout for EVERY BODY.

    All levels. Mat required.
